Really good job potraying the robot. I like the pose and the look, as well as the reflections. I always pictured the robot being gold toned as I watched the movie, even though it's black and white (if that makes any sense...)

Thank you :) I liked the gold too. My reference photo was a poster image, so everything is the same except maybe the red. In the reference pic the writing was white.

I think the red letters are a good choice, it looks more dramatic than white.

I like the reduction of the colours, one thing I would say is that the red is letting it down a little.

Thanks--Yeah, the red got a little murky; I can't remember how, but I remember I had to use some red paint, so that's probably why. I Must have made some mistakes while laying out the black, otherwise the red would pop more :)

I see.

Whenever you impose red over dark colours remember to paint it in white first, that way the red appears vibrant no matter how thin the first coat is.
